Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 9 September 2026

You can disconnect a Meta account or ask DhriOSA to delete eligible Instagram, WhatsApp, client-workspace or contact information. This page explains the available routes and what happens next.

1. Disconnect through Meta

An authorised account administrator may remove DhriOSA's access in the connected account's Meta settings or Business Settings. Removing the DhriOSA app, business integration, system-user permission or account subscription prevents future authorised access once Meta has applied the change.

Meta's menu names can vary by account type. Look for connected apps, business integrations, assigned partners, system users or account permissions associated with Dhriosa Marketing. If you are uncertain, contact us before removing an integration so we can help identify the correct account without requesting your password.

2. Request deletion from DhriOSA

Email hello@dhriosa.com from the address associated with your business or client relationship. Use the subject DhriOSA Data Deletion Request and include:

  • Your name and business name.
  • The email address associated with your DhriOSA access.
  • The connected Instagram username or only the last four digits of a relevant WhatsApp number.
  • Whether you want a particular interaction, a connected account or the complete eligible business workspace deleted.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, full payment details or identity documents in the initial email.

3. Verification and authority

We verify requests before deleting information so that one person cannot remove another business's records. We may reply using an existing authorised contact method or ask an account administrator to confirm the request. If additional proof is necessary, we will explain what is required and provide a safer way to share it.

4. Information covered

A verified request may cover eligible records such as:

  • Connected Instagram or WhatsApp account identifiers and routing mappings.
  • Encrypted platform credentials held for that connection.
  • Comments, direct messages, webhook events and delivery records held by DhriOSA.
  • Submitted images, videos, content notes, drafts, captions and business-library media.
  • Contact information and other eligible client-workspace records.

5. What happens after a request

We acknowledge the request, verify its scope and provide a reference for follow-up. Eligible information is normally removed from active DhriOSA systems within 30 days after verification. We will confirm when the active-system deletion is complete or explain any lawful limitation.

Protected backup copies are not returned to active use and expire through the normal backup lifecycle, normally within 90 days. Limited records may be retained where required for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or proof that a deletion request was completed.

6. What deletion does not control

Deleting information from DhriOSA does not automatically delete content already published on Instagram, messages retained by another participant, or information stored independently by Meta. Those items must be managed through the relevant Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook or Meta account controls.
